My coworker who had been with the company for 3 weeks at the time. I was hesitant at first because I’m usually against being connected with people and plus, I’ve only known this coworker for 3 weeks. ‘How can I trust her judgement?’. She showed me Adeola’s photo, and I was sold. Lol “Set it up”. Numbers were exchanged, a double date was planned, and we were moving forward. The first date didn’t go the way I would’ve wanted it, but I’ll spare the details. During the date, I thought to myself, “Should I let this go or ask for a redo?” I made the decision to speak to her on the side and express how I felt the night went. As we walked to her car, we both gave our honest reviews of how we felt about the night and our expectations for dating/relationships. We skipped the small talk and just laid it all out. She gave more of her expectations than I did and that’s what attracted me to her more. After that night I knew I only had one more chance to make a good impression. The very next day I called an emergency meeting with a few experienced men for advice about how to handle this moving forward, because I knew I found the one, and the rest is history.
